I hope that good things happen for him and he succeeds in finding the woman he wants. I wish I could've been her, but I know he was not for my heart either. It's like I understand that we would never work even if we did want to be with each other but I still feel certain ways and I wish I could help it but I can't. I am glad he has come into my life, I'm glad to have gotten to know him, and he will always always have a special place in my heart.

Just Posting to Get it Out of My Head
My fwb got a new job and his last day at work will be next week. I'm sad over this because I will miss having him there to go on breaks with and talk to. Idont know how his schedule will be now that he has a new job but I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing each other much anymore. I have this feeling that wednesday will be our last time seeing one another, because I also might be moving out of town in aslittle as a month. I have only known him a short time (7 months I think) but it feels longer than that and in that short of a period I have come to care so much about him. I truly do love him as a person and my friend and I will miss him a lot

When you find the right person, a time will come in your relationship where you'll absolutely know it. There won't be any doubt.
Because you bonded with your fwb, expect to feel down with him out of the picture. This is normal. Best wishes.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, Virginia
