I think most of the answers that will be given are over on the other Thread you started last week .
https://www.womens-health.com/boards...tml#post355235.
It's an inside WH link to your other post .
To get more discussion, it's best to stick to one Thread so as not to have people confused and bouncing between more than one Thread with the same Basic Question.
JNS and RC gave some good insight to this in the Wouldn't it be Cool Thread .

I think it boils down to more.
Some men actually have a feminine side to them, not meaning "girly" just that they can tap into the emotional side a lot more. As such, they have no problems talking.
The blokey bloke that was bought up to be tough, never cry... I agree, it appears that they feel it's not manly.
Yet, honestly, the most successful relationships are those whereby communication is there all the way through... The other person knows exactly where they are going and where they are...
Guys should stop being "blokey" they are still real men in our eyes. Nothing wrong with communication .PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment

Guys are taught from hen they are very young to not show most emotions. Some, like anger, are OK.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?

I think you need to be more specific about which emotions you're talking about. Lots of us show emotion all the time. I'm more willing to talk about some. When I'm ****ed, happy, confused, I have no issue saying why. Sadness, fear, I keep to myself, I figure nobody needs to know my problems.Comment
