Yea, we are lucky. And it's not just that the romance part of our relationship is good, but we are each other's best friend as well.Yeah, I'm familiar, similar background. Woo-hoo! whips and chains.
Something, I can't emphasize enough how you should thank your lucky stars every day that you've got this wonderful woman in your life. Many people would die to get even a brief time with that kind of happiness. (And she's lucky to have you too.)
The idea of 'release' is really interesting btw - what better type of therapy to need, and what better type of therapist to be? lol it sounds like I'm being cute but I'm actually somewhat serious, because I think the notion of working out religious sexuality issues can be very real, and that they tend to be worked out more often than not in some very enjoyable and experimental types of 'crazy' sex.
But sometimes, I wonder if it was more than luck. What I write about below actually happened:
When I was 11 (I know for certain I was 11 because we had moved to a new place to live when I was that age) I had a dream. In the dream I married a Brazilian girl. My brain did not give her a face but we could communicate. When I woke from the dream I said to myself "huh?" Why Brazilian? I did not even have the slightest notion as to what a Brazilian was supposed to look like (were they dark, brown or white?). I said to myself that I've never even met a Brazilian person in my life (perhaps I did, but I never knew they were Brazilian). I am in Los Angeles, and it is rare to come across Brazilians unless you are in Venice or Manhattan Beach (they prefer to live by the beach). But even then, they are rare to come by.
Anyway, what I am trying to say is that in my dream I married a lady from an ethnic background I knew nothing about and did not desire. After the dream I even went to a world map to look for the country's locale (had an idea it was South America). It was soo random. I had zero exposure to the culture. The idea was foreign to me, so I do not think it was a dream I desired to have, but instead a dream cultivated through intuition. The dream happened only once.
Here I am today, in a relationship with a Brazilian girl that I will marry. I mean, isn't it nuts? It's more than coincidence right?
By the way, I had no other dreams about marriage but that one. I know it will sound like I made this up, so if someone wants to call BS on it, I won't take it personal.
I will say this, in my dream the girl had more of a brownish skin tone, but my GF has a light skin tone. Again, could be that my mind was just trying to plug in details that it did not know where to draw from when I was dreaming."Are you serious? You're bleeping THAT girl?" - jen1447Comment
