i think someone asked me for a date? need advise
i am a guy and the other day after my yoga class this woman who is always in my class who I've just had some casual chat with gave me her number and said we should get together for drinks some time. I am married and assume she knows I'm married from the ring on my finger, and don't know if accepting the invitation is something that should be done. I haven't been anywhere near the dating scene for 15 years and don't know if this is just being friendly or more in the date realm. I admit I am flattered but don't want to tell my wife as she may not want me going to yoga if attractive women are hitting on me. am I just overthinking this? was wondering if anyone with more knowledge of how things roll think of this situation. thanks -
Here is the answer -- would you hesitate at all telling your wife that a woman in your yoga class asked you out for drinks and you said that would be great. If there is any hesitation in your mind, then you certainly can't go. Don't start hiding even a casual meeting with a woman from your wife. She will find out and then the trust has been broken. It really doesn't matter whether your yoga friends intent is to have an affair with you or just chat. What matters is the effect on your relationship."The only consistent feature of all of your dissatisfying relationships is you." Despair.com "Dysfunction"
