Leaving his family for me? Starting a life together?
I would appreciate if people with personal experience of having a relationship with a married person, especially if the marriage ended and you were finally together, would please share moments of that journey and the struggles that come with it. Eager to read your stories. Thank you so much. -
My personal experience is in observations of others. I think it's rare that the relationship lasts, but there's always exceptions.
I would be apprehensive getting involved with someone already in a commitment. That tells me something about their character, or at least how they deal with conflict or unhappiness.
I agree with ats...........I'm curious as to the details of your situation that have resulting in you asking this question. Remember, no judgment here, only opinions and advice.
I haven't experienced this personally, but have certainly seen it experienced by people I'm close with. It didn't turn out well. It seems so often that the woman (mistress) is fighting for a man that she truly wouldn't want if she had, she just doesn't know it yet.

Going with a married man and having him leave his wife wouldn't sit right with me. Thankfully, I've never fallen for a married man, so I can't offer any personal experience of the matter. But I do think I would feel as if I had broken up a marriage and would be worried about what the wife would think/do to me. I would get a bad reputation and my life would be destroyed. Yes, I would love him but these negative consequences would put a damper on any love we shared. I don't seek social approval with my partner choices, but I have standards.Comment

You're right: not every affair is easy or straightforward. Emotions aren't set in stone, so a couple can split when someone else comes along. No one chooses who they fall in love with and common sense does not really rule in those situations. From a logical point-of-view I can understand the wrongness but - again - no one can stop themselves falling in love or just falling out of love. Seducing married men, however, wouldn't be on my agenda.Comment
