To put it nicely, he's a bum. Friend or not he needs to be OUT. I would not even think about possibly even CONSIDERING marrying your fiance under these circumstances.

Quit feeling bad for trying to have some standards. This is your life too. Its important to have standards, to have things you will compromise on and things you won't.

Oh yes, I know hes a bum. It took SOME TIME but I confronted this guy about his hygene, which is one of the problems I have with him. He said he could take a shower, but because of a hereditary gum disease he cant brush his teeth because his gums bleed. I told him not to give me excused because HEY, my gums tend to bleed too. Not brushing your teeth only makes it more-so worse. The other real major issue I have with him is his NEED to be right and make sure he puts in your face kind of right. I was messing around with the little XBOX Avatar thing one night and I saw something and thought it was something else, so I thought nothing of it and moved on looking at other things. He started telling me that the thing I saw before was something COMPLETELY different. I shrugged and told him that it really doesn't matter to me, its just pixels on a screen anyway. So he kept telling me to go back and look and that it really was something and I told him I didn't much care. (I threw away some kind of code thing earlier that had what he was talking about on) so he went and dug that paper out of the trash and goes, "Its this thing." and I just looked at him a little shocked for a second because he just went to stupid standards to prove a point that I already made clear I didn't care about and that it really didn't matter. So, irritated I said, "You feel better now?" He replied with, "Well, you kept cutting me off" and I go, "Its pixels on a screen, not something worth arguing over." My fiance ended up calling me a for it and its really started making me question who he deems more important in his life. Me or his un-hygienic roommate...
He can't go back home cause he would probably go to jail over some child-support junk, and by junk I mean I don't believe what I'm being told. I'm not sure how it works, but I'm pretty sure you HAVE TO HAVE BEEN informed to get in trouble over something like child support. I don't think its like, "We sent a letter," I'm pretty sure that make sure you know before you have to deal with going to jail or something. He claims he never knew he was supposed to go to court, which I find hard to believe. Ive become an irritable beeyatch since hes been here.

I just don't know how to deal with this. I've been told that I NEED to talk to my fiance about it. These things are holding me back though: A) His grandfather is in the hospital **On a breathing machine. Hes had heart-surgery and doesn't have complete lung capacity** and if in 5 days or so he can't breath on his own, his living will states to 'let him go' to put it in softer terms. He LOVES his grandfather. So you can see why I don't want to bring that up now. And B) The fear of what would happen. I would be hearthbroken if he choose his room-mate over me, and even if he did choose me over his room-mate, I would still feel bad because I couldn't get along with his friend and how his friend was.

      I'm stuck between a rock and a hard-place and I am claustrophobic!
