how do you know if you love someone..
..i've been talking to someone on & off for about 7 months now. we never officially started dating, but we acted like it whenever we were together. but we would usually go a few days without seeing eachother. and recently i was disturbed by a question my friend asked me. she asked me if i loved him. and my answer at the time was no because i didn't think it could be possible. but then i thought about it & it even ruined my vacation. i think i might love him, is that possible? how do you know when you love someone? and what does love even feel like? -
Not easy to answer because it means different things to different people. For me it is a lot of different things. For example, I'm happy when she is happy - not consciously, not intentionally, but if she is happy I just naturally am. Conversely if she is unhappy, I am unhappy.
But another thing - unless you know you can never be with the person you love, love should make you happy. -
I love rcoreyus's answer... It's true you would move mountains for that person, cut your arm of if you had to, give them your kidney to save them, un-conditional.. Accept the best, accept the worse, love...i've been talking to someone on & off for about 7 months now. we never officially started dating, but we acted like it whenever we were together. but we would usually go a few days without seeing eachother. and recently i was disturbed by a question my friend asked me. she asked me if i loved him. and my answer at the time was no because i didn't think it could be possible. but then i thought about it & it even ruined my vacation. i think i might love him, is that possible? how do you know when you love someone? and what does love even feel like?
On and off....
Not really dating.
When together your enjoy each other's company.
No contact for a few days...
Love comes in many forms.
You can love "people" so much, they are special, something about them that just clicks, you are compatible, you can talk about anything, you can share your feelings, thoughts, you love them.
That can be a guy or a girl, your parents, even.
But to be truly in love?
You can't wait to see them.
Your stomach goes into butterflies.
You live and breathe for them.
If you never saw them again, your heart would break.
You are in sinct...
You accept their faults and their qualities.
You know that they would never leave you....
You are their world, they are yours.
Is that how you feel?
Or do you "Love" the person, as a person, get on well and enjoy the company but you don't dream of him every night, or think of him daily?

love them or in love wiht them?
love them can have many forms and aspects. I have a number of people I love, and in a variety of ways.
In love with them, for me =
does your day feel empty when they aren't in it?
do you think about them all the time?
would you prefer to see them happy, even if it meant they were with someone else?
it's really pretty easy to identify when you are in love with someone.Comment

that is exactly how i feel.
whenever i don't see him during the day, i feel really disappointed. i am almost always thinking about him, what he'd doing, where he's going, and if he's thinking about me too.
i love it when he's happy, just like rcorey said..he's just naturally happy. that's how i am. except if it means he's with someone else..well that i'm not so happy aboutComment

he tells me he likes me but is afraid if we start dating, he won't have enough time for us. (he's always busy withs sports, school, his band, family problems) so i leave it at that. recently we had a talk about this and when i left he told me he loved me but not one of those intimate first-time i love yous, he said "kim listen, i love you and if you ever need to talk to someone i want you to know i'm always here"
what does this mean? does he actually love me or what?Comment
