I don't understand. Why does he do that? Why do I say yes?

Why??
Why with everything that is going on with my spouse(and i use that term loosely)...does he still ask me if we can have sex? Are there any men out there who can/will comment on this? Even tonight, he uses sentences like IF we get divorced and IF you move out...then we get home and he says can we have sex tonight?

justkimmie, men (just like women) want comfort. If the world is crashing around us, we want something to make us feel better. Sex can do that. It makes us feel whole again, normal, and gives us a brain-chemical rush that tells us "things are going to be ok".
The same reason he keeps asking you for sex is probably the same reason you keep saying "ok". Both of you are in pain. For a moment, it gives you freedom from that pain (maybe).
That's my theory, now tell me if I'm full of it.
Cheers. -
Thanks both of you. It is so hard to know that we are heading to divorce and still have to live in the same house. That is a problem that I am working on, when I do say yes, I do see more into it. I guess I think that if he didn't care for me he wouldn't want to have sex...I know better than that. Thats all it is to him...SEX...I've got to start working on my self-esteem, that way I know if he doesn't care/want me, I'm not giving into the sex emotions, they are keeping my head clouded.~KimComment
