    Baby Woes

    Hey Everyone,
I am in a world of confussion right now. I will start with a little history. My husband when we first got married was okay with the ideas of children when the time was right. He later after a year of marriage change his mind. He has one daughter which was the result of a one night stand. I have one boy by a previous marriage. We have now been married almost five years and he has slowly changed his mind yes over the course of years. We have picked out names and went as far as telling the family when we are planning to try to conceive. We just had a really big fight over how I mistreated his daughter. He got really mad and told me that I could forget about plans of ever having a baby with him. What should I think?

If you are not sure, if you are not both absolutely sure, DO NOT BRING A CHILD INTO THE WORLD!. (sorry for shouting - but I feel very strongly about this).

I have been involved with unwanted children, couples where one decided having a child would keep them together, all sorts of things.

When I hear of someone threatening not to have a child - as if it is some sort of bargaining chip....

I'm not blaming you, or him, I don't know enough about your situation, I'm only worried about the future child.

      Don't Rush

Well if you really mistreated his daughter, I can see why he would be upset enough to say that. She must be a daddies girl, word of advice never never come between a man a his child especially if he is invovled with this child, stay out of it, you'll find more peace that way.As far as another baby give him time to cool down, you want a baby to be concieved out of love not demands. I would not mention it anymore for a while. Then pray about it before you bring it up again. But let him know that you would never hurt his child, and that you love his daughter, you will see that this will help.Trust me I have grown step daughters.Been there
