my fiance has ADHD
i cant get him to do anything. he is constantly forgetting everything. he has been to the doctor to get his perscription of adderall, but when he takes it he has no personality. i told him i wanted to accompany him on his next visit so i could speak my part to the doc. however, i cant seem to get him in there, he doesnt wanna be on meds. what to do? -
Sweetie, unless he wants to get better, and would voluntarily go, there is nothing you can do. What is the degree of his disability? What do you mean by him having no personality when he takes adderall? There are other meds that the doctor can try aside from adderall. If you can get a hold of his doctor, do it. I know this is not right, due to privacy issues...but try. -
Make an appointment with a naturepath. For a first visit you can expect to spent 40-60 mins and be prepared to be complete in providing information. I have a nephew that was diagnosed ADHD. My sister's naturepath/homeopath, did some treatment, some diet changes and he went from being unable to read to being an honors student by the end of the school year. He has never has any additional problems and is now in college. It would certainly be worth checking into.Comment
