How do I deal with this?

I met someone online about 6 months ago. I know that my reasons for getting involved with him were my own insecurity and wanting to have a life mate.
We got engaged fairly quickly and he moved in 3 weeks ago. Now he throws hissy fits and goes to be without saying goodnight just because I was not very touchy that evening (just got the result of my mammogram and need to go for biopsy).
We do not share the same intellectual properties and beliefs. He keeps promising to change and he actually does. He then tells me he is a very good actor!
He is generally very self centred and only talks about himself (or occasionally his twin brother) all the time. He repeats things over and over and over and over and over-----till my head wants to explode.

I know that I want him out of my house. My kids (22 and 21 are now living in his house) and how do I gently bring the kids back without risking any kind of violent or abusive attacks from him.

Oh, what about the engagement ring, do I need to give it back?

    Wow.

Get rid of this guy. Simply tell him that you are through and want him to leave.

Do the right thing....give the ring back....do you want a reminder of this debacle?

At least you know what you did wrong for the next time.

Internet dating... (he's a good actor).. don't be disalussioned that all guys that you meet via the net are like this.... but take your time next time....

I know that I want him out of my house. My kids (22 and 21 are now living in his house) and how do I gently bring the kids back without risking any kind of violent or abusive attacks from him.

If you feel that he will be violent/abusive, ask a locksmith to be there at the same time, go and talk to your kids privately about the situation and ask that they gather their things together quickly and quietly to move back in..

Ask your family or friends to be there as well and then simply pack his things, move him out, them back in and change your locks.

As for the ring I agree with OhThereYouAre... I also see it as bad luck wearing a ring from someone you had bad relations with.
