Everyone finds different things a turn on and web cam sessions may just be his thing. That is strange but fine! The problem is that he is not respecting you and what makes you feel comfortable. I have discussed with my other half that certain things he did/watched did not make me feel right inside and we talked it out understood one another and came to an agreement.
I personally think the public thing with an 18yr old is seriously sick! Who cares if she is hot? I mean I doubt he was telling her he was with you. At 18 years old he most likely had been manipulating a girl with obvious self worth issues. I apologise for the slight rant but I have a sister who is the same age.
And as the other posters have said you have a child! You have to ask yourself if that is an environment you would like yourself or you child to be in.
I would think about seeing someone professional for yourself and hopefully he would be willing to do it together!
peace, love and cha cha cha!

I think you are not overreacting ... i would be angry too if i was you. I would leave if i was you. I know its a hard situation especially when you share a child together but you deserve a lot better .... how long has this been goin on for??

hizenberg, good for you that you finally stood up for yourself. I know it won't be easy, but it had to be done. Good luck on everything.

You did the right thing. And yes, it's going to take you some time to get past this. Aside from his inappropriate behaviour, this was something you were with for a long time. Of course it's going to take a while to get past it. Of course you're going to miss him at times, you're going to doubt your decision at times, etc. That's totally normal.

Everytime you miss him, remind yourself of the things that caused you to leave.......

It's important now to get out and do things with your friends, do things for yourself, pamper yourself, etc.

Good for you for leaving him. It will take some time to get over him, of course, but just try to remember what a scum bag he was. Best of luck as you move on.

Letting go is hard, even of someone toxic like your signifcant other is. The upside to him treating you so poorly is any time you find yourself doubting whether or not you made the right choice.... he gave you plenty of examples for you to pull up in your own mind and remind yourself you did the right thing. Missing what you had when he was not being a total pig can't possibly hurt worse than knowlege of his cheating and inability to respect you or your relationship.

There are JUST TOOO MANY... good men out there. Really there are. And life is both way too short and way too long to spend it miserably. He has problems that go beyond fidelity... he sounds like a sex addict that also has the potential to be a sex offender.. masturbating to teenage girls in public places... its just too much. I personally have a hard time buying he was able to find some hot 18 year old girl that was thrilled to find him masturbating to her and began doing so herself... so either he's dillusional or hiring prostitutes -- neither speaks well of him.

I was really glad to read a few days ago that you are making your way away from him. Unless he wants to change, he isn't going to... and it sounds like as severe as his affliction is... its probably going to take something like losing you for him to realize what a mess he is making and perhaps that will be the catalyst for him to get some help, for his own sake even if the two of you don't reuinute.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
