I can confirm to you that alot of men, aren't interested in seeing another man's penis, feeling that would be gay, therefore, only watch one on one, women, in the form of porn....

You two need to be able to be open and honest and it appears that he shuts down, as soon as a problem arises, uses "words" not action in an attempt to fix, and leaves it well alone...

It doesn't sound as if you scream and shout, rather, just want to communicate..

I would suggest seeing as he doesn't do well with words, to use action... to get what you desire at least in trying different things sexually on those 2 - 3 days a week, therefore, he doesn't have to defend himself

Seems, he can't fathom that side, hopefully, from there you may be able to open up the lines of communication.....

      Dear girls!
Thanks a lot for your comments and advice! I really appreciate it and must say that you all made me feel much better! To be honest I have never spoken these things outloud before (only to my husband in very small doses) and it feels so much better now. As for communication that jonnie_rocks has mentioned it is absolutely right - there's a lack of communication on that subject. We talk freely about anything but this... Each time I try to suggest something new (always something very mild and never anything extravagant if I may say so) I get the same responce: You are not happy in bed with me and a very sad face of a 5 year old who is ready to start crying. I'm scared to think what would have happened if I mentioned a dildo haha. Obviously I can never say anything like "No, baby, I'm not happy in bed with you, I've had far better" but putting it accurately and giving him lots of hints... But they don't work! As soon as he realizes that it's not hopeless he doesn't want to try anything! He'll keep saying "We'll do anything you want" and he knows what I want but he never does it! Anyway, I think I have broken through the thick brick wall a bit this weekend and we had something really special. I just wonder if it is going to carry on going up the hill or we'll go back to the usual It is a problem but not a disaster though! Thanks everybody again!
