Everybody thinks of Vegas for eloping right away because of the "chapels" at every corner, late hours, and accomodating marriage license laws...
but honestly, you can elope ANYWHERE. What would be your ideal vacation? Figure out with your future hubster where you would love to get married - on the beach? In the mountains? Someplace warm? Someplace cool? The possibilities are quite endless! However, you might want to stick to the US... international weddings can sometimes cause some validity issues once brought back to the states... but really, other than that, go where your heart and your imagination take you.
Once you know the type of destination, you can do a simple internet search for wedding services offered in the area - call around at the hotels or a nearby chamber of commerce and see what they can offer or if they can give suggestions.. Just about anywhere you would want to go, there will be an accomodating venue for you to get married.Comment

Check around, I know every state I have lived in there has been a elopin' spot not far away.... (within 100 miles) I live in WA. and just 30 miles away there is a place in Idaho called the "Hitchin' Post" and a lot of people runaway there to get married. If money isn't an object what about going on vacation somewhere and tying the knot while you are away? A romantic boat cruise or something like that?Comment
