Just before Christmas I was walking home along a fairly busy road which goes through a little wooded area and for some unknown reason I was feeling incredibly horny and I was...... erect. I had no idea why.

In most cases it is a sexual addiction. In some cases much more than smoking, and we all know how difficult it can be for some to quit that. Professional help would in deed be a plus, however some strong minded people that come to the conclusion they do have a problem can manage it themselves.

The lying. Again I will say it is a very hard thing for a man to admit to. Especially a person with an avoidance personality. The best way to get him to fess up and stop the lying is when you catch him, make sure he knows he can tell you anything, don't assume he knows, tell him. Maybe act as if it isn't a big deal, even though you know it is, and let him know firmly that you want him to stop the lying. Focus on one issue at a time. It is quite possible he is doing it elsewhere in belief that you don't approve or embarrassment that he wants to or needs to masturbate. Another thing I have run across with masturbation in other places is that person men and women feel as though if you find out or know that they are doing it, your feeling will be hurt and they don't want that so they hide it.
