It could be a lot to that. Stress can do that, low libido (due to age), boredom, taking care of his own needs (none left for you), or poor relationship. As long as you feel you are getting along OK, you may just want to go down this check list and see if you notice anything.

PS. I forgot to mention too much alcohol or drugs can affect it also. Especially high blood pressure meds. There are some other post on this site on this subject. You may want to read some of them.
