    don't know what to do

Okay, here's one that you don't hear often...my husband has no sex drive anymore. He actually told me that the other day. He says he doesn't know what's going on, and it's bothering him, but why might this happen? It's not often you hear about a guy's lack of sex drive. We've been married for 14 years. Haven't had sex in two months. I know he's VERY stressed about work, but I wonder if that's it, or if it's something physiological or if it's me. Anyone else experience this? I'm at the point that I'm thinking...that's it...no more sex for me....I'm in a sexless marriage. I love my husband very much. I don't have a huge sex drive myself, but, my god, it would be nice to have sex now and then.

You actually hear it a lot on these discussion groups. Women whose husbands have lost interest in sex, men whose wives have. Not sure there is a fix for this .

Good luck, wish I knew what to suggest.

(My wife lost interest in me years ago, sex is very rare - wish I knew what to do).

      Stress will cause that loss.

Get him to a doctor for a thorough physical exam.
If the doc finds that all tests are ok, then he should probably see a therapist...
      something's causing this to happen.

maybe your husband has low testosterone. he could be tested for that by his doctor. that could cause a drop in labido for sure. well good luck

Stress definately causes this - and sex itself can be stressful, something which you don't want after all the stress of work.

My answer would be spontaneous blowjobs, but that's my answer to "do you want a cup of tea?", so may not be applicable...

A blood test for testosterone levels really does help. If he's willing, that is. My husband was recently tested for it (low testosterone also affects other things, like energy levels) and he has a low level - the level of someone twice his age.

So it is possible. And stress is the worst. When my husband was badly stressed from work situations in the past, we'd basically have a platonic relationship. It was awful.

I'm sure its just a short-term thing. Good luck!

I know exactly what your going through.

My husband and i have been married almost 20 years and 4 years ago we started having the same problem. He told me he loves me ,he just doen't want to have sex with me. he went to the doctor and found out he has low testerone. we are still working on it but it isn't the same. He won't take his shots. We have even tried "natural cures" with little sucess. I hope that if you find out anything new you will share it with us. good luck

First off, I am sorry that you are going through this. I have been going through it on and off in the three years that I have been with my husband. His is due to stress. If he gets stressed out, no sex. All you can do is talk to him about how you feel and tell him that it is affecting not only him. I wish there was a answer that I could give you that would change it tonight, but alas there is not. Hopefully, he is willing to work on this issue with you insted of being too macho to do something before it is too late. I'll keep you in my thoughts....
