I have a theory called "Spousal Immunity." It's that spouses (or at least my wife and I) don't easily pass viruses. I've had the flu for almost 2 weeks and my wife hasn't caught it. We've been intimate multiple times since then, including right after I caught it, but still nothing.

Incidentally she thought she might have caught a cold or something this weekend and we were just intimate last night. If she has, it's highly unlikely I'll get it. That being said, we don't do open mouth-to-mouth kissing. I'm not trying to tempt God.

A few years ago I was the sickest I've ever been in my life. I literally started writing a farewell letter to my family. My wife caught that mysterious illness from me. It was horrible. So, spousal immunity is not 100%. I tell my wife she has to get regular "inoculations" from me to maintain it.

I prefer not to. I feel like it's sort of "asking for it" for lack of better words. haha. But, I also don't want him to kiss me while I'm sick. Kiss my forehead all you want, but stay away from the lip/nose area.

I probably wouldn't. Even if you were both sick, doesn't mean you have the same bacteria or virus, and could pass yours along. While married, it did seem that we never caught each other's funk. Generally, I think the same rules should apply for anyone else you encounter if sick. Wash hands, don't drink or eat after them, cover your face when coughing and sneezing...basically the same courtesy I'd extend to anyone else, and I expect the same from a partner.
