I'm glad you'll have a first-floor bedroom, although I'm sorry you were thinking about separation and I hope that you and your husband are able to work things out together. I don't have any personal experience with fibromyalgia but I have heard it is very painful and difficult to deal with. Hopefully not having to walk up and down stairs anymore will help greatly.

I’m suddenly reminded of a time when my husband did not take me seriously about an issue and only addressed it when I discussed separation. I don’t want to project on your situation, but too often menfolk don’t take concerns seriously until a breaking point is reached. I wish I knew why, as I happen to be an excellent communicator.
