    My Ex-fiance' (the Minister)

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Ex-fiance' (who Happens To Be A Minister) And I Dated 1 1/2 Years, We Were Due To Be Married On July 3, 2008. We Had Our Rings, Dresses, Tuxedos, Photographer & Venue Chosen And Most Of It Paid. What A Deceitful Man He Turned Out To Be. Please Keep In Mind That He Is A Minister With His Own Church.....turns Out He Is A Gambler, A Foul Mouth Cusser, Cheater, Intimidator, And An Abuser....thank God I Found This Out 3 Weeks Before We Were To Be Married. Of Course The Wedding Was Called Off - Yes....it Was A Painful Situation And I Was In-love With This Man, But I Thank God For His Grace And Mercy, If It Had Not Been For The Lord, My Family And Friends I Could Not Have Gotten Through This Mess. I Have Not Talked To Nor Have I Seen This Man Since Our Break-up On June 14, 2008. I Was Told That He Is Now Dating The Lady He Dated Right Before Our Relationship. As For Me, I Feel So Much More Relaxed, Relieved And Stress-free. I Continue To Be Confident, Always Keeping A Smile On My Face, Knowing That The Lord Is On My Side And I Will Continue Striving To Be The Woman That The Lord Has Ordained Me To Be.

Could you ask the lord to teach you some grammar? You use a capital letter for the start of a sentance or a name, as you can see from this sentance...

And of course a lot of priests/ministers are sinners. Historically speaking this has always been true, those in religious power abuse it for their own pleasure and gain, while their sheep follow the rules that they will not adhere to, and generally provide those in religious power with the provisions to do so; money, naive young men and women, etc.

That is good that you found that information in time. It is disappointing to be let down by a person of such stature as a minister let alone your fiance. Unfortunately, they are merely human even if they claim to preach God's word. Please forgive Anon, he is not a fan of the clergy. However, the hypocrisy in which he speaks of has become more and more apparent everyday. It can be very discouraging. But you still have your faith and if that gets you through this difficult time, then good for you.

Sentance? Grammar for one, spelling for another Oops.....

It's okay op I'm a shocker with grammar too...

I noted that you wrote this on a couple of threads and started your own...

It obviously has upset you immensely.

But besides what he does for a living, people hide behind closed doors and marriages all the time. Fortunately you established some facts before walking down the isle.

As a woman, who has been married, i understand especially so close to the wedding how excited you were to only feel gutted and that, that day is one you look forward to.

At least you didn't marry and find out later, that would have been worse.
