Really Scared... What should I do???

ok sooo while me and my boyfriend were "together" the condom broke, sooo we left his house about 10 mins later and bought Plan B and i took it right away. now i have irregular periods soo i never know when its going to come no matter how i chart it. my mom does not know that him and i are doing this and she was planning on taking me to go get birth control this wednesday(jan 28) now im scared whats going to happen and what i should end up doing. i dont know if i should still get the birth control and if that would do anything and just not let my mom know. it sounds wrong but its what i have to do, i cant disappoint her like that since she had me at a young age too. im sooo lost and scared and my boyfriend is just confused and scared which doesnt help me as much

i just need someone elses opinion cause there is just no way i can go to anyone else for this kind of help.

It sounds as though you should be safe. Congrats for going to get the Plan B right away. The sooner you get it, the better, and it sounds like this should work for you. Unless you have any indications otherwise, go ahead with the birth control as planned, it will give you a little more security (and should help to get your periods on schedule, so you'll know when something is amiss).

Although it's difficult to do at a time like this, try to relax. Stress will only interfere with your hormones and lead to the possibility of a delayed period (which will only increase your stress levels more).

The above poster has pretty much already said everything that I would say. But just to reinforce, do not stress, because it will off balance your hormones and postpone your period to add even more stress.

Continue with getting on birth control. It does regulate your periods very well because that's why I originally got on it. It should work for you as well.

Kudos for getting Plan B right away.
