bleeding with coil in between periods

Hi i have had the non hormonal copper coil about 4 months and have just finished a peroid. Then after a week of finishing my period
i started bleeding again, sorry to be crude but its more a brown sticky stuff and im having to wear pantliners. It's been like this for about 4 days. Just wondering if this is normal as it didn't happen after my last 3 periods since ive had coil fitted.

I've been having the same and the period has been going on for over 4 weeks now! I was seen yesterday and everything seemed fine. A swab was taken and I should get the results next week. I was also advised by the doctor that it could be stress related, but for some reason I feel that it could be more than that. I'm having a pregnancy test done today at home just in case.
