    no period for 8 months.

I have been taking yaz for a year, i went off of it for no reason this summer. I am a virgin and was taking it only for pms and acne. But since i went off of it i haven't had a period, or any cramps or anything. before i started taking it i had normal periods but they hurt really really bad, while i was taking it i had a period during my white pills then it stopped shortly after i started the pink pills, with barely any cramps. I live with my grandfather and have abo****ely no one to talk to.
i went to the gyno, but she said that everything came back normal, and that i should start taking the yaz again, better yet switch to yasmin

i went to the pharmacists and they gave my ocella, i've heard bad things about this med

basically im scared to death, i wish i had never started birth control, i just want to have a period and bad cramps again

    please someone help me :[

Renee, I'm in the same boat - but it's been almost 2 years. Have they figured out your problem?

Entirely normal. When I stopped yasmin (higher dose version of yaz) I had maybe 2 periods in a year before they started to become normal again. The longer you take pills for the more likely it will take awhile for your body to adjust to not having pills.
