    Spotting?

I have been on birth conrtol for about 2 months now. Th first month went smooth. Then my older sister told me i could skip my sugar pills and i could skip my period. With prom approching this sounded like an excelent idea. I didnt get my period for prom. However the third ot forth pill into my new pack i got my period or what seemed to be much lighter but a usfficent amount of bleeding. Now im on my last week of pills nd im still bleeding.

    Is this just spotting?
or somthing i should be concerned about?

Your sister told you correctly, however it doesn't always work fool-proof. I'm guessing you're on the kind of BC that changes doses each week, with different-colored pills? It doesn't work quite that way with those pills. You have to do complicated pill combos to get it quite right. Even with the one-dose pills it doesn't always work quite right.
It's 99% likely to be spotting. It's happened to me before.
A side note: You really shouldn't mess with your BC until you've been taking it 3 months or so, so that your body is used to it.
