    Skipping A Period

Hello, I've been using Levlen ED birth control pills since Feburary this year, so I've been through about 5 or 6 normal cycles. But I'm going on a camping trip next week and my period is due the day before I leave. I haven't yet skipped a period, and I'm not %100 sure about how I should go about it. I've searched all the Levlen ED FAQ's and they say nothing about skipping periods. Though I remember the last pack I had did say something in their instructions about it, but I accidentally chucked it out.

I'm pretty sure all you have to do is skip the white (inactive) pills and continue into the next pack with the beige (active) pills. I'd just like to know if anyone is taking/has taken Levlen ED if they know that this is definitely the correct way to go about it. It'd be a great help.

Also, just for future reference, how do you delay a period? And is it possible to make it come earlier?

    Thankyou so much.

    Hey sarah
Im on yaz and i have skipped my period twice. The first time worked like a charm..but the second was a disaster! I tried to skip my period for the second time a month ago and my body didnt understand what was going on and i had brown discharge for a month it literally stopped a few days ago...I have posted about this before and i got a few replies. I was lucky i didnt get cramps as well but it depends. It worked the first time i did it but it can either go well or not so well so you would need to decide if you want to take the risk of spotting for a while (if it happens) and cramps. But if you do want to skip all you have to do is just continue with a new pay and skip the inactive pills.

Just keep in mind it might not go according to plan

Really talk to your doc. I wouldn't normally support skipping periods it messes up your body but if you are going into bear country it might be a good idea. Scented shampoos or soap can attract them, that fruity lip gloss and blood.
