I am religious about taking my birth control. I haven't been more than an hour late since I've been on it...which is almost 4 months. Last month I had a special event and just started the next pack instead of taking the sugar pills. This month I am having cramping and moody, but still no period? My boyfriend & I also use condoms EVERY TIME so I highly doubt that it's pregnancy. Anyone else have this experience?

anyone?
I pasted this in the Menstrual Cycle section before I realized this should probably be here instead...

Skipping periods can make things a bit random. Your period may end up coming at different times, having a different amount of bleeding, random spotting anytime, cramps, etc... Everything can be different. What type of pill you take can also impact the odds of various things going wrong and some birth control pills such as the really low dose single hormone versions may not be suited to that use. -
Don't panic yet
Hey there. I've been on the pill forever (different scrips over the years) and I tried to do the "delay my period once" thing (I too never vary my take time by more than 10 minutes--I'm super-compliant). It was awful for me; same thing; I didn't really get a "full period" but just loads of bloating and spotting that month. Keep an eye on it; take a pregnancy test in a few days, and if all is well just chalk it up to a bad experiment. I certainly won't try that again!
Good luck and keep us posted.Comment
