kira, I am not planning to have a child now, I'm just not ready to take the pill.
I don't want it to mess up my body. I know pregnancy does that aswell, but at least it's natural. That's the way it actually has to be, the pill is unnatural. I just feel like that.
I am absolutely sick of taking tablets cause I've been taking them for years and I just hate them. I hate how I have to depend on them. As far as I know the pills I'm taking can be taken when pregnant. I'm not sure about the dose now.

I only take now when I really need to til I know for sure.

And with my partner I just feel like he's making me responsible for everything. And I feel bad cause I didn't have to do something I'm scared of - taking the pill.
(I know I have issues. I'm trying to see a psychologist about it, but I cannot get through to my psychiatrist. He only knows tablets, antidepressants. I don't need those and I'll never take them, exactly for the same reason as morning after pill. They mess up your body and are unnatural). But my boyfriend is still stuck with his fear and I just feel sorry for him. I had to choose between my biggest fear or his and I decided to let go of my own fear. But it absolutely kills me to see him like that.

When I went to see my doctor and asked her for other options, other than pills, she suggested the injection. Nothing else, cause I haven't given birth yet.

Thanks for your advice though. We'll just have to wait it out til my periods. I'll see what it's like when I see him next.

If you're in the States, you might have to go to more than one doc to talk about birth control options because a) not all doctors know what they're talking about and b) US doctors have this big misunderstanding of IUDs in particular. There are a couple of "reasons" why some docs in the States say that IUDs are better for women who haven't given birth yet, but they're essentially negligible in this day and age, and I think kira explained it wonderfully.

Try looking up some research on the copper IUD. It's pretty much THE most popular method of birth control outside of the US. I have one right now. As I said, it's a very small T-shaped thing with a copper coil that is inserted into your uterus, and the copper makes the environment inside your uterus inhospitable. It's the same effects as birth control pills but WITHOUT hormones. I think this is worth a shot in your situation, and it's removable at ANY time you want and can last up to 10 years if you so choose.

I think you both seem to have different goals as far as family. You wouldn't mind and he is 100% against it. If one of you isn't ready then you as a couple are not ready. I think the only fair thing to do is to either take the measures that he feels comfortable with. If you don't feel comfortable with those measures then perhaps the relationship is not meant to be or at least not at this time. If you want to make things work I think you need to talk about other birth control options such as inserts, IUD, Nuva ring, shots, cervical cap, sponge, or diaphram. Maybe talking about other options and how effective they are might put his mind at ease. Here is a good site to see what options are out there and what might be right for you.

Yeah it's alright that we're not ready as a couple. We never planned anything and I never expected/hoped for that kind of thing to happen.
I'll put the birth control on hold for a while now, cause I don't know how everything will work out between us. He hasn't contacted me for a few days now. I just leave him be.

I think I started my period today.
I'm not fully sure it's normal period.
The last time I had them was on the third of January.
So I'm about a week early, which is not the best thing, but in my situation I think it's okay.
Although...I know you can get brown or black blood when you're pregnant when you're due or late or a bit of spotting.
I just want to ask is it normal to have 'normal' periods and be early when you're pregnant? I know you can get periods when pregnant but still...
I took a pregnancy test on Tuesday and it was negative. It was too soon I know, but I just want to tell my boyfriend something.
