does anybody have trouble with putting in or taking out the ring? i'm not really a regular tampon user, they actually don't work that great on me. would you say you could feel the ring more or less than a tampon?

New to the NuvaRing
i just got the nuvaring, but i haven't started it yet because i'm still trying to finish up what i have left of the patch. however, i'm very excited to start using it because i think it'll be pretty good. i was just wondering about what it feels like while you're having sex with it in there. doesn't it get pushed up or something? i mean i'm assuming it's kind of like if you were to try having sex with a tampon on?? that kind of freaks me out!

like it's not even there
I have had the ring in for about 3 weeks now. I had the same concerns that you have written about. I was shocked to find that I never even know it's there. not even during sex. my boyfriend can feel it with his fingers and when we have sex a little, but he doesn't mind, being that the benefit is he doesn't have to pull out anymore.
the strangeness the first couple days was all in my mind...thinking about it being in there. know i just leave it in and never even notice.
hope it's the same for u
