Sorry for the title I wasnt quite sure how to word it

Currently I am taking microgynon 50 and was due to start taking my palcebo pills sat currently monday here and I only reasliesed last night that I taken 2 of my other pills the sat and sunday.. I realised sunday night what I had done so I took a placebo pill then and took one this morning.. Will this effect my period this month or timing of periods next month ?

Probably not, if you miss a pill though miss it, use a condom that month and continue daily, it's not good to take two pills, when one is missed, it can send you out of wack more so than missing one

Non active pills are safe, they are sugar pills they are only there to remind you to continue to take the pill...

Your saying they are non-active so your okay sweet.. Take the sugar pills and you should get your period as normal.

My reference was if you ever forget to "take the pill" hormonial pills, then don't take double.

Can I recommend? You place your pill by your toothpaste or kettle, somewhere where you use it every morning then your safe

I have it by my bedside table just had 2 packets next to each other I grabbed the full packet the last 2 mornings with out thinking.. Yup I learnt my lesson! thanks for the tip

I don't even take my placebos.......

I leave my empty pill pak in my purse until the end of the week but don't take anything all week. When that Sunday rolls around, I know I have to start a new pak (necon). You don't have to take the placebos at all.

If you took 2 of the active pills from another pack in place of the inactive pills you may delay your period. Missing or doubling up on inactive pills will not do anything. They essentially do nothing. I never actually take them. I just ignore that week and start the next pack on time.

Doubling up pills is standard instructions for missed pills with some birth control. I've doubled up yasmin more times than I can count from missed pills. There are more months I missed a pill or 2 than took it perfectly. You should read the instructions with your specific brand of pills since different ones will have different recommendations and some may even say to do different things with different weeks. With some missing one pill means use a backup method and others won't recommend that until you've missed more than 2 pills in a given week or entire pack. Some will depend on the week you missed. Always read the instructions or call your doctor or pharmacist to ask.
