    Help please!! Essure issues

I am new to this entire thing, so if I am posting this incorrectly I am sorry. I have to get my story out there, to see if there is anyone at all with some answers. I had essure done in October 2009. Since then I have been in the ER 3 times, and I have seen 3 different doctors. I have had blood work done, and everything has come back normal. My symptoms include feeling punch drunk, dizzy, blurry vision, pain in my lower back, and pelvis, and the most confusing thing sensitivity to EVERYTHING(Advil, food, natural supplements, and just about anything else you can imagine.) My family doctor placed me on an anti-depressant, and an klonopin for anxiety. Neither are helping at all, and the anti-depressant actually makes the symptoms come on more strong. I have always been a healthy normal 26 year old. After my last child I chose to have the essure procedure done so that I could return to the military without worrying about having any interruptions. I WANT MY LIFE BACK. I can barely get out of bed much less be a productive mom or wife. Every relationship, friendships, marriage, and relationship with my children are all strained. I have been depressed in the past, and I know that this is not depression, and the fact that the doctors are so quick to push it off as that is crazy to me. I have been on the internet for moths now trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I thought that I might have a hormonal imbalance, but I can not take any medication to even it out without having one of the “episodes” as I like to call them. Has anyone at all had anything similar happen to them after having essure done?? This is my last hope to try to find out what is wrong, I have exhausted all other options. Anyone, anywhere please help me. I feel as if I am drowning in this, it has taken my life, my confidence, and my heart. I finally just had an appt. with my OB and he has never heard of anything like this. He wants to look into everything before he will consider removing the essure, but I was hoping to find someone with a similar case so that I can find out what exactly you did(or your doctor did). Any help would be outstanding.

Im waiting on my medicade to be approved so i can get a hysterectomy. I hate this feeling like you ive always been very independent and now its a struggle just getting out of bed..

      Hi Jilsoul23

Have a look at this thread below,

I had essure done in July. I could not have laproscopy due to adhesions from surgery when I was a baby. Everythign I have read says that most women had blocked tubes after

Hopefully, you will find something there that makes sense.

Ladies, I feel your pain! The more I read about this, the more I think I've made a huge mistake. I had this procedure done a week ago. It was a terrible procedure. I'm telling my friends not to do it. I just turned 40 in April. I'm done having kids and don't want any unexpected pregnancies. It doesn't appear that this contraception method is as effective as they say. It's disturbing that so many Dr.s are eager to implant these. I wonder if they're getting a trip to Hawaii for every one they do!
