Going off the pill was the best thing I ever did for myself. I never knew how bad I felt or how bad my body was responding until I got off of them, then a light bulb went off...oh!...it's not actually normal to feel that way. I'm so glad I'm not on BC, I'll never go back.

Same thing here. I spent so much time feeling like "gosh I'm just a grumpy tired moody person". FINALLY the light bulb went off and I'm SO glad it did. All the things I thought were "just me" and that doctors reinforced was "just me"...........were SO not me.

OMG! I was the same. I had resided myself to just being 'a grumpuss' and I'm totally not. BC is evil.

Oh my, me too... Especially when I was on Seasonale (the pill you take for 3 months). Three months of pms was compounded into one month, I was a raging hormonal witch (the most polite phrase I can think of), hubby and kids contemplated staying in a hotel for a week every 3 months. I was a nasty nasty human being then.

Here's a weird thing my body does naturally:
Whenever I'm training really hard and my body fat dips below the 13% range, my cycles get shorter and shorter, the opposite of what's supposed to happen. Last summer when I was training like mad, I got my period every two weeks! UGH! Now I'm training hard again and trying to make weight for a tournament and my cycle shortened by 6 days. If I get my period again in two weeks I'll be mad.
