    Depo

    Yeah, I've been there. Unfortunately, b/c you don't have a period w/ Depo Provera, it can hit you pretty hard afterward. It can cause some serious clotting and excessive bleeding. I can't remember how long I had to deal with that, but I think it was at least a month straight, and I lost a ridiculous amount of blood.

    I'll admit that Depo seemed great at the time, but if someone asks me for my recommendation on it now, I would probably discourage them. It's been almost 4 yrs since I had the shot, and my husband and I haven't been able to get PG. I'm not saying DP is responsible for that fact, but I'm not excluding it either....

    Personally, it's just not worth the "cost".....

      Depo= pain in the butt

      I know what you mean. I was on Deop for a long time and everytime I came off it i would bleed for 30 days straight then have crazy periods for like a year meaning nothing for three months then three months of periods so I was never sure if I were pregnant or not. It can take up to about 18 months for your period to get back to normal. The only plus side I had was that while I was on it I didn't have a period at all. By the time I had my permanant procedurwe done I actually had to read all the pad packages again because it had been so long since I needed to buy a maxi pad. I had no idea what the heck I was shopping for. So you are not alone. Depo has ruined more sheets than just yours.
