i had essure done in august of 2009 and now i am due in one month with a healthy baby boy and glad to say i will be having the coils removed after my delivery and because this is my third and my second almost came at my house my doctor is inducing me like i did with my first one to avoid any problems so i will be having sean on oct 25th so YES YOU CAN GET PREGNANT WITH ESSURE. i have been on pain meds through this pregnancy and the ultrasound tech even showed me both coils in place they just cannot explain it. so good luck everyone and to anyone who gets pregnant with this take it in strides and dont freak out wishfully it will all work out for you as it did for me. HOPE FOR THE BEST AND PLAN FOR THE WORST!!!Comment

I had Essure done in July of 2010.
I am 9 weeks pregnant. I will be 40 in July and we had only planned to have two. I am feeling fairly peaceful, as it feels like it's out of our hands.
It wasn't supposed to happen, and somehow-presto!
I will plan to have my tubes tied after this baby, though. Triple knotted!
The Essure procedure was not smooth for me. One of the coils would not go in correctly, and so I had to "go under" to have the procedure completed.
The dye test came back as it should, but it makes me wonder if maybe something wasn't placed correctly?
In any case, we have two wonderful children, so God must want us to have one more...Sigh. I have to think positively...it doesn't do any good in my case to feel unhappy. Just stress on my body and the new baby.
I do wish there was something Essure could do. How about paying for the baby's college??!!

I had the essure done in November of 2007. It has been almost 5 years. no pregnancy's yet although for a month now I have had signs and symptoms of being pregnant my last period was a bit weird and now I'm spotting.. I took a test and it was negative. I think I'm pregnant but I don't know. All of my research had said i am probably pregnant. I'm not worried if I an.. in fact I'd be trilled but it's been 5 years almost and the essure has worked for me!Comment
