Weird :/
My doctor put me on birth control to start my period in December. I had a period December 8-12. I only stayed on the pill for about two-three weeks because they made me sick. Since then I haven't had a period. Now I have started to bleed but it's very light and one day it was a brownish color(like at the end of a period). This has been going off and on for about a week :/ Each time I wipe there is a little blood...not really red just very light almost pinkish. I would were panty liners but nothing would be on them most of the time. One day it was a little more pinkish blood than usual so I went to a pad, thinking it was my period finally coming on. But as soon it happened it stopped there was no blood on the pad and very very little when I wiped. And like I said this has been going on for a week now. Could this be my period trying to regulate itself again? -
I would say that yes, it is your body trying to regulate itself. Basically by taking the pills for a few weeks, it has confused your body, and now your body is trying to get back to "normal". It sounds like you're just experiencing light spotting, and most likely, giving it another month or two will get you back to normal.
You got put on the pill for birth control reasons or for period reasons?
