I still have to take to more active BC pills until I start my non hormonal pill to start my period. Well today I had some brownish and hint of red discharge as if I was to start my period, but my period usualy does not start until I have finished my active pills and am usualy half way through taking my non active pill then I have my period for about 3 days. Also my husband and I had sex 2 days ago and he came in side and I was wondering if my pill would still work or if I could be pregnant, I take my pill at the same time every day and have been for the past 2 and 1/2 years. Thank you and please help

Brown is old blood, also often a sign that the body is getting ready for a period. It is normal, happens to all women at some point.

Taking a pill correctly means it is going to be working correctly, the chances of pregnancy at any point during the time you take a pill is extremely small.
