Cycle after Depo
I took Depo injections from may '09 to oct '10. My next shot was due in Jan and I decided I wanted go off it. I expected it to take some time to get back on a regular cycle like I was before. However, last month I had pms and a normal cycle. But this month...nothing. Is that anything anyone has ever experienced or should I be concerned....? -
I used Depo as a form of BC for almost two years and my periods were normal before I started, sometimes irregular, but otherwise normal. After I stopped taking it though I had very, very light periods and really bad cramps that I never experienced before. I also had more irregular periods than before, sometimes it would be two months until my next period. I think your body takes a while to readjust to the fluctuation of your hormones, I wouldn't worry too much about it, give your body time to get back into it's natural cycle.Comment
