No. You should not use the morning after pill as a constant method of birth control, they are not meant to be used like that. You need to use regular birth control pills or methods in order to have constant protection. The morning after pill hasn't really been around for a long enough period of time to fully know the extent of long term effects. Most of the studies done that I've found are more recent, and are done on women who are "testing" the morning after pill for a given period of time, not women who have routinely used it over a long period of time. You must also keep in mind that what may not have effect on one person, may have effect on you.
So, my answer to that is that there are several short term side effects associated with taking the morning after pill. There are no reported long term side effects of pill, but that doesn't mean there aren't any.Comment
