Second, I love my Implanon! <3 My Dr did put me on the pill as well for the first couple months. She said this was to help keep from excessive bleeding the first few months until my body normalized. I had that problem with Depo. I took the pills for the first month, didn't have a period, and haven't had any spotting. It was easy going in, but my arm was sore and had a nasty bruise for a couple days. I love it.

Ick? Ick to what? No period? Or to two birth controls? I was only on the pill for a month, and since I was covered by my implant, it didn't matter if I missed or was late taking it. I'm thankful my Dr was willing to give me both, because now I have no periods.
The Nuva Ring and I used to get along, but over time I developed a sensitivity to it.Comment
