Depo/Essure Bleeding
I had a baby back on Feb 7th bled up until March 16th. My 6 week check-up was four days later March 20th. At this apt I had planned to schedule for the Essure. Since I could not get it til the middle of April and it does not work for three months the Dr had given me my first ever shot of Depo. 4 days later I began to bleed. So I only stopped bleeding for 8 days. I bled up and through the day I received the Essure in the middle of April. 2 weeks after I had my Essure check up and told the Dr I was still bleeding from after the shot. The Dr prescribed a low dose provera. It helped but I am still bleeding. I will spots for days and then have normal period flow for a little and then back to spots. Do you think it is still from the shot or could it now be due to the Essure? Is this normal? I have no pain. But it is a pain to continously wear a pad for a couple spots every day. Wearing these pads everyday are really getting me sore. I just dont understand why I would bleed from March 24th up until what is now June 15th. I cannot take the bleeding anymore and the Dr is insisting I get one more shot in 5 days... I DONT WANT TO

I have been on the depo pretty much since I started puberty until lately I switched to the IUD. After my PP check up of course I wanted the depo shot, it had worked pretty well before and I liked the convince of it(every 3 months). But I too NEVER stopped bleeding after my PP check up. So my OBGYN put me on the patch for 3 months to regulate my periods, then I went over to the depo again and until 3 weeks ago I was on it for 3 years no period and 2 the years before I got pregnant no period. -
