    Nuvaring (Weight & Libido)

I've been really iffy on whether or not I should get on birth contol. I mean, I know I should but it's just my own little morals getting in the way. I know I have my personal beliefs, but the last thing I want is to get pregnant. I'm still young, and me and my fiance have sex quite often. I figure if we have sex as much as we do (and NOT always using the protection we should), I do need some form of birth control. I went to my doctor and she gave me Nuvaring. I have not used it yet. My mother (a nurse) and my doctor said Nuvaring could be better because it works right at the souce. It isn't going through your whole system like the pill.
I just have some concerns, will it lower libido? I know that's one of the last things us ladies want. I have heard stories saying it decreases or increases. I understand each of us are different. Share any experiences?
And also: weight gain? Or weight loss? I will let you know I am terrified of weight gain. I am coping with an eating disorder and anyone who has an one would know just how awful the thought of even the slightest weight gain it. I'm pretty tiny to began will. Maybe at the moment a little under 95 lb. I heard it can increase breast size, which I definitely wouldn't mind. 34B.
I just want to hear some advice. If there is any other form of BC that might be better for me? I'd really appreciate any comments.
    Thank you!

Hi there I'm on the ring, and it hasnt lowered my libido...although somedays I wish it would lol.

The reason I went on the ring is because there is NO weight gain associated with it. I love the ring, its a god send. I don't have to remember to take a pill, and the depo shot messed me up to the point of white patches developing on my face. Yeah, the ring is a little weird to put in, but once its in there, you forget all about it.

I love it. It works amazingly well for me

I think no birth control method gives 100% results even birth control pills. I have no experience with Nuvaring.

No birth control is dangerous if you don't want to become pregnant..

Another question, have you had intercouse with the ring in? Are you able to notice it?
