I was on the injection for 6 months, and i found that while i was on it i was overly sensitive and very emotional. Has anyone else experienced that??? Also, if you have gone off it like i have, how long was it until your periods returned? I havent had a period all year

Depo

I was on depo for 9 months. I was extremely moody, I gained 40 lbs., and didn't have any periods the entire time I was on it. I was due for a shot in march and decided to stop taking them, so I've been off of it for almost 6 months and still haven't had a period. I keep hoping that I will and I have cramps like it's trying to start but nothing yet.

i was on the depo shot for three months.i was extremely sensitive also. i gained 20 lbs. i have been off the shot for a month now.when i was on the shot i got my period but it was longer and heavier.now that i am off it, it seems that my periods have gone back to normal already.hope this helps the depo shot is the devil!!!

OH YES i WAS ON IT FOR 4 YEARS AND IT MADE ME THE SAME WAY. i LOST FRIENDS AND A BOYFRIEND BECAUSE OF IT. IT TOOK ABOUT 8 MONTHS FOR MY PERIODS TO RETURN TO NORMAL. AND I AM CONVINCED THAT IT WAS THE CAUSE OF MY ENDOMETRIOSIS. I ADVISE ANYONE WHO THINKS ABOUT TAKING IT...DON'T DO IT!!!!!!
