I had unprotected sex almost 4 weeks ago. I took the morning after pill around the 3rd day after. The pill said it would be effective within 72 hours of having unprotected sex. I am on birth control but I missed some pills so I know it was ineffective. I had what I thought was my period around the time I was supposed to have it but only for around 2 days which is not normal for me and it was the last two days of my last week of pills. The blood was more of a dark brown but had some bright red. Now it's a week after the bleeding and I'm experiencing pain in my lower abdomen. I'm scared I could be pregnant and I'm not sure what to think.

The morning after pill really messes with your system. What you describe doesn't sound too out of normal. Get a home pregnancy test if you want some peace of mind, but most likely you are fine.

I read a ton of posts I'm going to take my morning after pill tomorrow morning! Wish me luck. What you describes sounds pretty normal of what I've read! But now one Question --How long will it continue?
