New to Birthcontrol
Well I suppose this is my last resort, my mother doesn't know and my doctor isn't able to get me in within the next two days so, I'm hoping someone here can answer my question. So I'm on the third day of the placebo pills and my period hasn't started yet, tomorrow is the fourth placebo and the last one of the pack, and the next day is when the next pack is due to start. I am just wondering that if it hasn't started by when the next pack is suppose to start, am I suppose to wait until my period starts, or am I suppose to start taking the next pack right away anyway? As I said this is the first time I've taken birth control, and I am 19 years old, I am aware that during the first few packs it can be irregular but can it be irregular to the point you don't have it? The brand of pills I have is Yaz if that helps at all. I don't think I could be pregnant, I have only has sex once but.. well I'm not sure if it counts, it was both our first time and neither of us knew what we were doing. It was kind of funny actually, anyways I don't think we were anywhere close to anything so... yeah. I know that it could still be possible, my high school years made sure that knowledge was drilled into my head, but I don't feel that that is currently the case, as currently I feel like my period could start at any moment, I have the PMS and such, but it seems to want to take forever to happen. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you're fine - periods that are light to the point of not being there are normal
Your body is adjusting to the hormones.
Unless your doc says otherwise, keep taking the pills as directed. You could also try calling your prescribing pharmacist or a nurse at your doc's office for confirmation. You should NOT have to go back in to the doctor's office for this question.
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
