I currently don't take birth control (I'm a virgin, about to get married), and I asked my doctor if I could take Seasonique. She said that I could, but because it's so strong, it usually causes spotting for ppl who don't take birth control. So she recommended I skip the second week of pills for the second month of taking them. This scares me because I will be getting married two weeks later. Won't this allow me to be fertile for awhile? Or no?

Seasonique
Hello all,
I currently don't take birth control (I'm a virgin, about to get married), and I asked my doctor if I could take Seasonique. She said that I could, but because it's so strong, it usually causes spotting for ppl who don't take birth control. I think she's preparing for the being married and having sex part now. I take seasonique and since it's so long between periods your body can rebel occasionally. Sometimes I have to let my period happen and then just make up those pills another time. This is no different than using a birth control that let's you have a period every month so no there is no risk of pregnancy. You just end up with an extra period that you don't normally have with seasonique if everything goes right.Comment
