I'd really like to know if my birth control is still working. I've had sex, and had my period (ended last week), but I am still concerned.

Birth Control, worried. Please give input.
on Dec. 27th, I lost my pack of birth control pills while out with friends. Fortunately I was on my sugar pills so it wasn't a big deal, the only issue was remembering what day I was on when I lost my pack and to start my new pack on schedule. I thought I had the date remembered, and started my pack when the date came up. Since then I have finished that pack, and started a new one. Looking back on pictures taken that day, I noticed the date and began to doubt that I started my new pack on the correct date now. I believe I was a day early, but I have already finished a whole new pack since then...am I still safe? Is the birth control working? My period was on schedule...within the green pills (Started on the 2nd green pill. My usual time)

I'm concerned because I'm not sure whether I started late or early. It's more likely that I started late though. I called a help hotline and was told it would only weaken the coverage of birth control for the first week, then everything would be set back on schedule. It's been a whole pack since then...so I suppose I am good.Hi there,
I think you're fine, most women don't even take a break between packages and completely skip their period. I would only be concerned if you started your pack late. Being a day early wont hurt or change anything just getting the hormones into your body sooner.
