Microgestin Fe 1/20 HELP!!
Hi ladies, I'm 22 yrs old and I've been on microgestin Fe 1/20 for about 3 months (this is the first bc I've ever been on). At first I did not notice any bad side effects except maybe a little acne and spotting here and there. But now going into my 4th pack, I've been crying at the drop of a hat (I am not a crier), I'm depressed, I have anxiety thinking my boyfriend is going to leave me when he's given me no reason to think that, I want to have sex but can't get turned or wet and I've been super tired.
I have an appt to change birth control but thats not for another month. Has anyone had these symptons or advise on what to do in the mean time? -
I would either call your doctor back or find a new one. It's strange for someone new to a form of hormonal birth control to not have a follow-up appointment after the first three months (I started at around age 20, and my doctor made a follow up for three months later because she said "It sounds easy now, but you will have a lot of questions at the end of those three months.").
If you feel that the hormones are having an adverse affect on your day-to-day life after three full cycles, I would absolutely have an appointment made immediately.
