Loestrin 24 fe
I've been on Loestrin fe 24 for maybe 2 years now not exactly sure. for the past couple of months my periods have been different in may it was barely there, June it was a heavy period, July I just had brown discharge, and now in August I'm on by third brown pill and I have a feeling I won't be getting my period at all. I am sexually active but I take my birth control everyday and we use a condom. the last time I had sex was June 28th so I assumed in July the brown discharge was my period, and now this month I don't have anything. I'm almost positive I'm not pregnant because of not having sex at all in July, but could it actually be possible? I know Loestrin is known to make periods reoccur less is this what's happening now? -
oh and for the past two packs have been delayed by a day or two due to the pharmacy not giving them to me on time. so my June pack began on Tuesday instead of Sunday, and my July pack began on Friday instead of Tuesday. even in June I waited a week before having sex knowing that's how long it takes to be protected. idk if this makes a difference -
Depending on the particular woman and pill, it's normal for periods to get lighter after you are on the pill for a while. I have read about women who only smudge their panties/liners a bit for their periods after being on the pill a few years, and while mine aren't that light, they've definitely gotten lighter over the years. I wouldn't worry, especially if you good about taking your pill and are using condoms. For peace of mind, though, you could take a pregnancy test.Comment
