Condom fell off/unprotected (didnt finish in)!! Should I buy Plan B for my girlfriend

I will tell the whole situation, even parts that don't seem too significant for me, so I don't miss something. I'll attempt to keep it short. I am 17 and she is 18.

My girlfriend has been on ortho tri-cyclen (not lo) since August 11th, the day she got her period (coincidentally, she was supposed to take it the first Sunday of her period and that happened to be a Sunday as well). Her period ended yesterday, when she took her first light-blue pill. I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but today (the 20th) was her first day off her period.

My girlfriend and I were having sex and I moved to the "back door" temporarily, then moved back to normal sex (same condom.. that probably wasn't smart, I know). We were going to move on the floor but as I came out the condom fell off and was still inside her, and I took it out and immediately knew I was going to buy Plan B. I then went in her unprotected for a while. I didn't finish inside but I came close (not REALLY close but I knew I was going to finish soon). Plenty of lubrication was used, if that matters. I don't know if it does.

Should I still buy Plan B for her? It has been two hours since I pulled out, approximately. She would most likely take it around 18-19 hours after intercourse.

    What should we do here?

Edit: I am going to sleep now, but I will read the replies in the morning.

How long has she been taking active pills? Most birth control needs at least (I stress AT LEAST - to be safe I'd give it a month) to fully work into your system and be fully protected.

Even though you did not finish inside of her, I'm sure precum was present.

So,… if she hasn't been on BC for very long (a few weeks or less), I would advise plan B. But be warned that plan B can have side effects that can mess up her cycle for up to a few months, just so she isn't surprised or stressed about that.

****I would also advise a condom change from the anal to vaginal. You would not want to give her any kind of bacterial infection down there.

    Best of luck!

      What MCR said.

I also strongly urge you not to go from anal to vaginal without changing condoms.

I also completely agree with what MCR said.
