    An I pregnant?!

Can I be pregnant? I am 17 years old. I have only had two depo shots so far, and have never been on birth control before this. My boyfriend and I visited each other last week and had unprotected sex and he finished inside every time like he always has. It's only been like five days since we've had sex, but I'm feeling a bit strange. I've been pregnant before, but had an abortion. I am having some of the same symptoms I had when I was pregnant last time like moodiness, light uterus cramps, frequent urination, im always tired, some of the same super strange cravings, and after I eat I sometimes get a bit nauseous. Also, I've been a vegetarian for 6 years, and all of a sudden I've been craving meat. These symptoms have only been going on for two days. I took two pregnancy tests today, and they came back negative. But it is probably too early to take them anyway. I've had a bit of spotting today and last night.
I would defiantly want to keep my baby if I am pregnant. (:

I'm on my this shot, and funnily enough I've had all those symptoms except the cravings and spotting, though I usually do spot for a couple of weeks in the last month. So unless i'm pregnant too (!), maybe its just side effects? Also i've had UTIs a few times, and I put needing to wee more down to that.

I guess just wait for a little longer and try again with a test, I may have to do one myself!

It's pretty unlikely. Implantation of a fertilized egg usually takes place between 7-10 days after ovulation.. and there's about a 4-5 day window (4 days before ovulation, day of, and 12-24 hours following ovulation). Pregnancy hormones themselves don't usually cause symptoms high enough until after implantation of the egg in the uterus.

Not saying the symptoms aren't there, but hormone fluctuations themselves can cause pregnancy-like symptoms without pregnancy.

You can get a positive test any time after implantation, although doing it at 7 days you're most likely to get a false negative if you are pregnant. Waiting 14-18 days after ovulation there's usually a high enough amount of the pregnancy hormone in urine to show positive on a test.

If depo is working like it should you wouldn't have ovulated at all.

Good luck! I hope the outcome is what you're hoping for.

I was on the depo injection from age 16-20 and after my last one I bled constantly then had to go for another one which was a thicker liquid and apparently a lot stronger and I kept on bleeding, I ended up having 6 weeks of constant bleeding so I went on the pill and it stopped it, but after a couple of tests the Dr said I was immune to the depo after being on it so long. I stopped the pill a while ago now. Sometimes the depo can not work properly.
