I have been married less than 2 years now, me and my husband did not have sex before we got married, and when we did get married I went on the pill Yasmin. While on the pill I gained 30lbs in 3months, and my sex drive went bye bye. We would maybe have sex 2-3 times a month. I am only 21, so I don't see why I did not have a drive.
I came off the pill in January '08, and I am completely different, more sex, still weight but there is always a gym. We are now just using condoms, and I am deathly afraid we are going to get pregnant, and don't want it right now.
Can anyone recommend a pill that will not kill my sex drive, but will not shorten my period?
I am in need of help and my doctors could care less.
Please let me know anything.

Why don't you try another method? Maybe the patch or the shot. Everybody is different and what works for some doesn't necessarily work for others. Just make sure you don't stop using those condoms.....

Hi I am 19 so slightly younger but...My doctor put me on Alesse 28( but it comes in 21day too depending on preference)...and i had no problems with it....I just have a two year old which can make taking it on time a little difficult...so i switched to other methods...a couple of friends of mine had the same problem with Yasmine and one of the was switched to Alesse and the problem was reversed...i hope i was helpful...Good Luck!!
